Custom Rebates
We understand that one size doesn't fit all. That's why Santee Cooper offers Custom Rebates.
While our Prescriptive Rebates cover the most common, big energy users, there are energy saving measures unique to some businesses that are still not addressed.
Our Custom Rebates can be tailored specifically to provide unique energy saving initiatives on a business-by-business basis. No one knows your business better than you do, so we want you to take a look at the biggest energy users in your business and come up some smart, new ways to save energy. If your idea is not already covered by one of our other business rebates, Santee Cooper will look into it for free to determine if it qualifies for a rebate.
Rebates:
A one-time rebate based on $0.10 for every kWh of verified first year energy savings, up to $200,000 per project.
Custom rebates must be ≤ 50% of the measure's incremental cost; ≤ $200,000 per facility per calendar year; ≤ $300,000 in total rebates per calendar when combined with other business rebate programs; and ≤ 120% of the initial estimate. Rebates are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and are valid for projects commissioned by November 30, 2012.
