As part of our "Reduce the Use South Carolina" campaign, the Smart Energy Homes Program is a comprehensive, whole-house approach to improving the energy efficiency of your home.

Whether you’re looking to build or just make your current home more energy-efficient, participating in the Smart Energy Homes Program can potentially reduce your home's energy costs while increasing your home's comfort year-round.

The Smart Energy Homes Program has two parts: new homes and existing homes. You may also investigate a low-interest Smart Energy Loan to help finance qualified energy-efficient home improvements.
